An amazing place to slope with shear faces and massive amounts of lift. In stronger winds not suitable for smaller sloping models.

An ideal place for a wide size range of slope models based on wind strength. Not much place to shelter so dress warm!

Easy access path from car park with a reasonable elevation to walk up.

A great place to fly nano quads along the cliffs and beech etc!

Also has an excellent bowl so on the right day its good for micro slopers also!

Public parking spot available at junction section. From there is a 3m walk to the flying location. Uplift is epic so a wide range of slopers are possible. Plenty of heather plant around to land in meaning no damage. For the mix of parking, short walk and amazing flying this gets a 9!

Free parking on A183 and a short 5m walk to the coast. Multiple spots available including for learning with a short cliff section having a grass section in front of it for bailing in. Otherwise the greater lift is directly on the sea cliff front 30 seconds further up. Once again the amount of lift available is excellent.

Marsden rock has one of the highest cliff elevation points along South Shields coast line. Direct west wind is best although off west winds are possible just slightly less lift so smaller or lighter slope models would be best. Once again parking is very close by for free or if you pay for a ticket then you can park in the car park directly next to the cliff (10s walk to the car..)
